Spicejet Airways is one of the low-cost airlines in India and began its operations in 1993 under the name ModiLuft. It ceased its operations in 1996 and then in 2005, it began flight service under the present name SpiceJet. Presently it offers flight service to 47 domestic and 10 international destinations. It went international on 7 October 2010 and the first international flight of the airline was from Delhi to Kathmandu.
